Questionnaire report

I have decided to do the following in my drama after reviewing the results from each question;

Question one showed that 0 of the 15 people I asked wanted this drama to be aired in the morning, leaving the majority of the people wanting it to be later on in the day, preferably after 9 in the evening. To act upon this, the drama will have content which is based more for the later audience as this is when most people have said they would prefer to watch it.

Question two showed that 10 out of 15 people would like the drama to last for 45 minutes and that nobody would like it to last for longer than 60 minutes. Therefore, the script should be wrote for it to last between 45 minutes to 60 minutes long but no longer than this as the potential audience would not like this to happen.

The results to question three suggested that the audience would not mind whether the drama was shown during the week or at the weekends. I have chose to make this drama for a Friday evening as this is in the middle of the both and it is at the preferred time.

Question four showed that  most people watch Prison Break rather than Friends or Towie. This means that I will aim to script the drama more like Prison Break. As not everyone gets a happy ending in Prison Break, this will be portrayed into the drama. However, it will not be as dramatic as it is in Prison Break. The two are quite similar to begin with as they both involve criminal aspects. Prison Break is an action/crime show therefore I will be making sure that my drama is representative of this.

Question five showed that the 9 out of the 15 people questioned would prefer the name of the drama to be called 'Hit & Run' compared to only 1 out of the 15 wanting it to be called 'Snatched'. Therefore, I will act upon this and go with the majority vote, 'Hit & Run'. This will hopefully intrigue a larger amount of people than what the other two options would have.

Question six showed that 9 out of 15 people would like the main girl character to be called Kate, 5 out of the 15 thought that she should be called Harriet and 1 suggested that Lucy should be the name of the main character. Nobody thought that she should be called Rosa. Therefore, I will make the name of the main character , Kate.

Question seven showed that 7 out of the 15 people questioned would rather the main male character to be called Theo rather than the other option of James. However, four people suggested different names which were: Adam (x2), Peter and Dec. As a result of this, I will make the main character be called Theo. I will also act upon the suggestions which people have put and make another character be called Adam as two people thought it would be a good idea.

Question eight showed that the majority of people wanted the drama to end happily rather than leaving it on a cliff hanger. As a result of this, I will write the script so that the drama ends happily which will then hopefully attract a wider audience.

Question nine showed that every single person questioned, wants the incident which happens at the start of the drama to happen on purpose. This may also be a reason as the why the majority wanted it to be called 'Hit & Run'. Seen as everybody wanted it to happen on purpose, then this it what will be scripted.

The final question showed what the previous questions had previously asked. They all said that the ending should be a happy one because it started on negatively therefore it should end positively. The end of the drama end with the two main characters living a happy life.
